All my shoots with babies are in the morning, as it is when they are happiest and we get the best results. I only shoot one family or baby per morning, to allow time for your baby’s routine. Weekends are extremely popular and often booked a long way in advance.
Newborn sessions
Newborn sessions should be pre-booked as I am only able to do two newborns a week (to allow for early or late arrivals). Most mums book after 12 or 20 week scan dates, but I do occasionally have available slots nearer to your due date. It is very rare I have a slot after baby has arrived as we need to book them within a few days but once in a blue moon I can help but to avoid disappointment it is best to book as soon as you can.
Newborn sessions are booked for the first available session within 7-10 days, and tend to be on a weekday. If babies arrive early we have a longer to do the session if we need to. Newborn sessions in the studio are just £85, on location is £160 plus mileage. NO prints or digital files are included in the session fee
Styled baby shoots
As well as my popular newborn sessions, my styled baby sessions with props are extremely popular. For these shoots baby needs to be 7-9 months and sitting up unaided, we cannot unfortunately do sitting up prop shots, if they are not seating unaided, due to health and safety. These shoots are sadly not suitable for children that are walking as the studio is very small and you wouldn’t be happy with the final results, but if baby is not walking post 9 months we can do this styled sessions any time before they are mobile, but 7-9 months is ideal as they tend to sit more happily for longer and not crawl off to discover something new. Weekday sessions are £85 and weekends are £110 for the session, NO prints or digital files are included in the session fee
Simple baby shoots
If you have missed the newborn session but really don’t want to wait for a styled session when they are 7 months I do offer simple baby shoots, these do not involve props or styling, and are only suitable once they can hold their head up. We can do simple family shots as well at the session. If you’ve fallen in love with the styled prop shots, it really is worth waiting! Cake Smash birthday shoots
Perfect before babies first birthday, we get a cake sit baby behind and let them do the rest. Its messy, its fun for them and amusing for us to watch! If you would like the pictures for babies birthday it is best to have your shoot around three – four weeks before their birthday. As always my shoot dates go fast so its best to book this in as soon as you can. Love your bump
Before baby makes an entrance we do a couple shoot with a difference, we head outside and create a shoot of the two of you showing of our beautiful bump. Weekday sessions are £85 and weekends are £110 for the session, NO prints or digital files are included in the session fee
Family, toddler and outdoor sessions
Once toddlers are walking they really don’t want to be confined to the studio and you will spend more time upset that they won’t sit for me, so we head out, no matter what the weather, it’s always fun going to a park or local wood and letting them be themselves. Weekday sessions are £85 and weekends are £110 for the session, NO prints or digital files are included in the session fee
For styled baby or simple baby sessions you can add an outdoor mini session (just 20 mins in a park near to my studio) to your shoot for an extra £40
After your session you will be invited back to my home for a viewing to select your products
There is no minimum spend. However most clients spend between £500 and £1000. You are able to purchase digital negatives with permission to print, but these are sold as a package and cannot be purchased individually. Full price lists are sent to all bookings before your shoot
I do not offer an online gallery so all purchases will need to be made at your viewing.
